About the role
The Staff Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individual patient care using the nursing process. The RN will supervise co-workers and delegate appropriate tasks while adhering to established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, planning, implementation, and evaluations of nursing care for each patient.
- Provide quality care based on assessment needs and established care plans.
- Educate patients and families from admission through the discharge process.
- Document nursing processes and care pathways accurately and legibly.
- Notify physicians of significant observations and changes in patient status.
- Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
- Ensure availability of equipment and supplies for patient care and report malfunctions.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited nursing program resulting in a Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Valid nursing license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- CPR certification required.
- Previous Registered Nursing experience preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
This position requires a night shift from 7 PM to 7:30 AM.
