About the role
Voca Healthcare is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 14-week assignment starting July 27, 2026, in Newport Beach, California. The position offers 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, and benefits including holiday pay, a 401k retirement plan, medical, dental, and vision insurance.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy services to patients in a variety of healthcare settings.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of patient progress.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist, or exceptional candidates with a strong passion.
- Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
- Pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Speech Language Pathologist preferred, but we are open to exceptional candidates with a strong passion.
- Valid certification and/or licensure in the state of practice, if applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and composure, especially during stressful and fast-paced moments in the healthcare setting.
- Valid Driver’s License and the ability to travel between assignment locations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen to meet healthcare industry standards.

Pay
