Travel Speech Therapist - $2,564 per week

About the role

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for an assignment in Mauston, Wisconsin. This is a 13-week contract starting 11/02/2026, with a schedule of 40 hours per week and 8-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits.
• Teach patients to improve communication skills, including making sounds, enhancing voice quality, and increasing oral or written language abilities.
• Train individuals to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies for safe swallowing to prevent choking or inhaling food/liquid.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet speech therapy goals.
• Set realistic and achievable goals to help patients develop, recover, or maintain reliable communication and swallowing skills for educational, vocational, and social roles.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or actively in the process of obtaining one.
• At least one year of professional working experience.
• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
