About the role

Host Healthcare is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 39-week assignment starting on August 17, 2026, working 40 hours per week, 8-hour shifts, days.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in a hospital setting.
• Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document progress and communicate with referring physicians and families.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Alaska.
• Experience in acute care settings preferred.
• Knowledge of current best practices in speech-language pathology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent.
• Valid CPR certification.
