About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a 13-week assignment in Cut Bank, Montana. This position requires 36 hours per week on a 12-hour day shift and is classified as a travel role.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Create individualized treatment and therapy plans for a diverse patient population in the acute care setting.
- Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
- Educate patients and family members about speech disorders, causes, and related conditions (e.g., disabilities, traumatic events).
- Report progress and current status to family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply. Exceptional candidates with appropriate backgrounds may be considered.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
- ASHA-SLP (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) National Certification.
- State-specific licensing.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
Pay
Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
