About the Role
The Rehabilitation teams evaluate and treat patients who have experienced injuries or conditions leading to a decline in self-care, physical mobility, or functional independence. The speech therapy team addresses challenges related to speech sounds, language, voice, swallowing, and cognitive functions including memory, attention, and problem-solving. Services are provided for adult patients with a diverse range of diagnoses in both acute care and outpatient settings.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech sound disorders
- Address language, voice, and swallowing difficulties
- Provide cognitive therapy for memory, attention, and problem-solving deficits
- Serve adult patients across a diverse range of diagnoses
- Deliver services in both acute care and outpatient settings
Requirements
- Current unencumbered Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) or active participation in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience preferred
- Ability to travel to multiple points of care
Schedule
- Shift: 8 hours, days (08:00 AM – 04:30 PM)
- 40 hours per week
- 13-week assignment
Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
