About the role
Seeking a Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide therapy services in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities
- Diagnosing, treating, and preventing speech, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Creating personalized treatment plans
- Performing screenings
- Educating patients and families
- Reporting progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply
- ASHA certification
- BLS certification
- State-specific licensure
Skills
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean comfortably for extended periods
Additional certifications may be required before assignment.
Schedule
Working 8‑hour day shifts, 40 hours per week.
