About the role
Travel Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) providing skilled speech therapy services in a Skilled Nursing Facility / Long-Term Care setting.
Responsibilities
- Assessing patient needs
- Developing and modifying care plans
- Delivering interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Setting achievable communication and swallowing goals to help patients regain or develop skills for educational, vocational, and social engagement
- Incorporating organization’s mission and values
- Ensuring compliance with standards
- Contributing to patient recovery and quality of life
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited program
- Current state licensure or active application
- CPR certification
- SLP-CCC credential
- Ability to work within an interdisciplinary team and provide patient-centered care
