Travel Speech Language Pathologist - SNF/LTC - $1,863 per week

Centra Healthcare Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a contract assignment in Massillon, Ohio.

About the role

A great SNF / LTC facility is looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join their team. This is a 13-week contract position with a days schedule, 6 hours per day, 36 hours per week.

This role assumes responsibility and accountability for incorporating the vision, values, mission, and critical goals of the organization into job performance. The SLP will work within an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled speech therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills.
• Help patients fulfill their educational, vocational, and social roles.

Requirements

• Graduated from an accredited Speech Language Pathology program.
• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist or actively in the process of obtaining licensure.
• SLP-CCC certification required.

Pay

Pay package is based on 6-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
