Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment in Township, MI.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, voice, and swallowing disorders
- Develop personalized treatment plans
- Perform screenings
- Educate patients and families
- Report progress
- Ensure accurate documentation according to guidelines
- Assist diverse patient populations in acute care
- Evaluate impairments
- Create therapy plans
- Communicate with healthcare teams
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience (new graduates encouraged)
- ASHA certification
- BLS certification
- State licensure
Skills
- Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lean comfortably for long periods
