About the role
Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
- Develop individualized care plans
- Document services to meet regulatory standards
- Collaborate with healthcare teams
- Supervise junior staff
- Assess patient progress
- Modify treatment plans
- Provide consultations to patients and families
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, trainings, and conferences
- Conduct patient assessments, support treatment modifications, and ensure compliance with professional standards in a SNF setting
Qualifications
- Missouri Level II SLP licensure
- ASHA CCC certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Ability to supervise CFY or students
- Adherence to ASHA and state guidelines
- Ability to obtain DME or supplies
- Preferred: 3+ years of experience and CCS certification
