Treva Workforce is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Marshalltown, Iowa.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Speech Language PathologistDiscipline: TherapyDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, eveningsEmployment Type: TravelSpeech Language Pathologist – Outpatient Neuro | Marshalltown, IA Location: Marshalltown, IA Facility: Select Specialty Physical Therapy – UnityPoint (Select Medical) Contract: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP Work Setting Outpatient Neurological Rehabilitation Speech Language Pathology Collaborative multidisciplinary rehabilitation team Schedule Monday–Friday 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM 8-hour evening shifts 40 hours per week Job Summary Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to patients in an outpatient neurological rehabilitation setting. Evaluate communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maximize patient recovery and independence. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive speech-language evaluations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Assess and treat speech, language, cognitive, voice, and swallowing disorders Perform instrumental swallowing assessments (FEES) Educate patients and caregivers on treatment strategies and home programs Collaborate with physicians and the rehabilitation team Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in discharge planning and interdisciplinary care meetings Required Qualifications Active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License (or eligibility for state licensure) Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Current BLS Certification FEES Certification Minimum 1 year of clinical experience Preferred Qualifications Outpatient neurology experience Experience treating patients with stroke, traumatic brain injury, Parkinson's disease, and other neurological conditions Clinical rotation in outpatient neuro considered Experience with EMR documentation Why Choose Treva Workforce?
