About the role

MetaSense, Inc. is seeking a travel Long Term Care (LTC) Speech Language Pathologist for a position in Moore, Oklahoma. This is a travel assignment with 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized plans of care using evidence-based practices.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and coordinate referrals when necessary.
• Educate and counsel patients, families, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team members.
• Communicate patient progress, barriers, and treatment plans with the healthcare team.
• Complete discharge summaries and maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Document all services in the electronic medical record according to regulatory and company requirements.
• Accurately record treatment minutes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, care conferences, utilization reviews, and required training.
• Obtain necessary equipment and therapy supplies as needed.
• Supervise Clinical Fellowship (CFY) candidates and student Speech-Language Pathologists when applicable.
• Adhere to ASHA standards, state practice acts, ethical guidelines, and professional regulations.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of Speech-Language Pathologist experience (Required).
• Long-Term Care (LTC) or Rehabilitation experience (Required).
• Active Oklahoma Speech-Language Pathologist License (Required).
• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) (Required).
• New graduates are welcome to apply if they have completed a Level II clinical experience (observation-only experience does not qualify).

Pay

Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
