American Traveler seeks a Speech‑Language Pathologist for a long‑term care skilled nursing facility (102 beds) in Giddings, Texas. The assignment is a 13‑week travel position starting 12 Oct 2026, full‑time (40 hrs/week), day shift.

Responsibilities

• Develop treatment plans to improve swallowing, cognitive, and communication abilities and decrease aspiration risk.
• Implement communication techniques to help residents better express themselves and understand others.
• Lead, guide, and direct the delivery of speech‑language pathology and audiology services in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures to provide appropriate resident care.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Speech‑Language Pathologist.
• Valid Texas license or compact license (if applicable).

Schedule

• Day shift, 8‑hour shifts, 5 days per week (40 hrs/week).
• No weekend or on‑call requirements.
