Responsibilities
- Assess patients and diagnose disorders that can impact swallowing and speaking
- Provide treatment for patients
- Counsel individuals and their families on ways to improve and support their personalized treatment plans
- Update patient records according to the department's processes
Qualifications
- Current Texas license
- Advanced degree from an accredited program
- Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills including patience, empathy, and compassion
- Effective communication skills, including active listening, writing, speaking and reading comprehension
- Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities
