About the Role
Provides skilled nursing physical, occupational, and speech therapy services to patients in an inpatient rehabilitation setting. Works under the supervision of a licensed physician.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patient needs and develops individualized treatment plans.
- Administers treatments such as exercises, modalities, and activities designed to improve patient function.
- Documents patient progress in accordance with facility policies and procedures.
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care planning.
- Maintains professional standards and adheres to infection control protocols.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Idaho.
- One year of relevant experience.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the Praxis II exam.
Skills
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with electronic health record systems.
