About the Role

Provide therapy services in an acute care hospital setting in Saint Cloud, MN. Assist patients with swallowing disorders, communication, and other related conditions.

Responsibilities

• Assess and evaluate patients for swallowing disorders, communication, and other related conditions.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on assessment findings.
• Communicate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams regarding patient progress and treatment outcomes.
• Modify diet orders and provide bedside swallow evaluations as needed.
• Use communication boards and thickening agents as necessary.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes in the electronic health record (Epic).

Requirements

• One year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
• BLS certification.
• CCC-SLP certification.
