About the role

A travel Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an inpatient rehabilitation facility in Cumberland, MD.

Responsibilities

• Assess and treat patients with speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care.
• Document progress notes and treatment sessions accurately and timely.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA accredited program.
• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Maryland.
• One year of recent relevant clinical experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Experience working in an inpatient rehabilitation setting preferred.
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and techniques for managing swallowing disorders.
• Proficiency in using the Epic charting system.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
