$1,897.20 to $2,090.16 weekly (includes taxable wages and tax-free expense reimbursements).

Schedule

• 13-week assignment
• Day shift: 08:00 – 04:30
• 4 days per week, 8-hour shifts

Responsibilities & Skills

• CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident) management
• Acute care assessment and treatment
• Bedside swallow evaluations
• Compensatory strategies for dysphagia
• Conducting and interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies
• Degenerative disease management
• Dysarthria and dysphagia evaluation and treatment
• Hyolaryngeal exercises
• Modifying diet orders
• Oral motor and oral peripheral exams
• Patient and family education
• Reassessments and TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) care
• Use of thickening agents

Requirements

• 1 year of experience in acute care
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• CCC-SLP (Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology)
