Requirements
- Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited educational program
- Completed CFY and current Certificate of Clinical Competence from ASHA
- Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
- BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
- Experience with MBSS
- Experience with dysphagia
- Experience with cognitive assessment and treatment
- Experience with stroke rehabilitation
- Active Georgia license
Assignment Details
- Shift hours: 0800-1700
- Weekend or on-call requirement: urgent evaluations for swallow or diet concerns, rarely
- Unit setting: inpatient rehabilitation
- EMR: Meditech
- Equipment used: Vital Stim, Bioness, Pneuvest, BITS visual and cognitive program
- Dress code: black scrubs
