Travel Speech-Language Pathologist, Inpatient and Outpatient - $2,132 per week

About the role

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week, 36-hour-per-week position in Marshall, Michigan. The role involves working 9 hours per day, with a shift that includes standing, walking, bending, leaning, and stooping.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans tailored to the individual needs of a diverse patient population in an acute care setting.
• Perform screenings to identify voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and their families about speech disorders, their causes, and related disabilities or traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to relevant parties, such as family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation according to state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• BLS certification and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• A strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• BLS certification

• Two years of experience
