Travel Speech Language Pathologist assignment in New London, New Hampshire. Start date: 11/16/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Full‑time, 40 hours per week (8‑hour shifts). Employment type: Travel.
Requirements
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or actively in the application process for licensure
- At least one year of professional working experience
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology
- Current CPR certification
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP)
- Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility
Responsibilities
- Assess referred patients with speech, hearing, and/or language deficits
- Teach patients to produce sounds, improve voice, and increase oral or written language skills for more effective communication
- Teach individuals muscle‑strengthening techniques and compensatory strategies for safe swallowing
- Provide skilled speech therapy services and interventions in accordance with physician orders
- Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate, and modify care to meet speech therapy goals
- Set realistic, achievable goals to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills so patients can fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles
