About the role

The School Speech-Language Pathologist will provide therapy services to students in a school setting. This position offers a competitive salary range of $1,205 to $1,434 per week, with a 4x8.0 day schedule, in-person work, and the option to extend, convert to a permanent employee, or find a new job after the contract ends.

Responsibilities

• Assess and diagnose speech and language disorders in students
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapy sessions to students as part of their educational program
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure effective communication
• Keep detailed records of student progress and treatment outcomes

Requirements

• Master's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in Michigan
• Experience working with children in a school setting is preferred
