Seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) for a school-based role in Anchorage, Alaska. Assist licensed Speech-Language Pathologists in implementing treatment plans, conducting therapy sessions, and documenting progress. Support assessments, prepare therapy materials, and provide feedback to clients and caregivers. Maintain organized records and collaborate with educational and healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

• Implementing therapy under supervision in a school setting for students from K-12
• Supporting speech and language disorder assessments and evaluations
• Educating clients and families on communication exercises
• Documenting sessions and progress meticulously

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in communication sciences and disorders or equivalent
• Completion of a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant certification program
• State licensure as required

• Prior school-based SLPA experience
• In-person work arrangement
