Travel Speech Language Pathologist - Acute Care Hospital - $1,942 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Saint Cloud, Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments
• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing
• Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Qualifications

• ASHA, BLS, 1 Year

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology

Schedule

We are looking for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate travel opening in Saint Cloud, MN. The right SLP should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted.
