Required Qualifications

• Current California Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA
• Pediatric and adult outpatient experience
• Ability to perform Modified Barium Swallow Studies (MBSS) independently
• CPR/BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications

• Inpatient/acute care experience
• Bilingual (Spanish)

Additional Information

• Float rotation may be required to other units, including acute care areas
• This position is primarily outpatient (both pediatrics and adults) with very minimal inpatient work
• The typical caseload includes approximately 60-70% pediatrics and 30-40% adults, mostly post-stroke or neuro diagnoses
• Expect about one outpatient MBSS per week and occasional inpatient neuro cases
