About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for helping individuals improve their communication and swallowing abilities.
Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and progress.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Educate patients and families on communication strategies and swallowing techniques.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, progress, and treatment plans.
Qualifications
- Current New York State license in Speech Language Pathology.
- Graduate of a college or university accredited by the American Speech and Hearing Association with a degree in Speech Language Pathology.
- Experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting is preferred.
Location
Position available in a Skilled Nursing Facility in Oswego, New York (posting also references Ohio; verify with recruiter).
Pay
Pay package based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
