Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $3,074 per week

About the role

Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment in Syracuse, New York, starting September 28, 2026. The role is full‑time (40 hours per week) on a travel basis, specializing in Speech Language Pathology within the Therapy discipline.

Responsibilities

• Administer evaluations to diagnose speech, language, cognition, communication, and swallowing disorders.
• Establish and provide treatment programs for individuals with deficits in speech, language, cognitive, voice, and/or swallowing disorders.
• Schedule patients for evaluations and treatments based on their needs.
• Provide education to patients, families, and staff regarding disorders of speech, language, cognition, voice, and/or swallowing.
• Participate in program development for the speech therapy discipline and related departments.

Requirements

Must be able to work one weekend per month and provide care in an inpatient setting.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech Pathology
• New York State licensure
• Clinical certification in Speech Pathology (or its equivalent)
• Completion of clinical fellowship year
• Ability to successfully pass pre‑employment health clearance

Schedule

Shifts are 8 hours, day shift (8:00 am – 4:30 pm), 40 hours per week, with one weekend required each month.
