About the role
Travel position in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. 36 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts. Employment type: Travel. Daily caseload: 7-10 patients. EMR: Epic.
Mix of patients from acute care and inpatient rehab. Coverage includes Monday-Friday with occasional weekends.
Patient population: Neuro (stroke, TBI, Parkinson's), trauma, post-intubation, cognitive evaluations for home safety, and some swallow studies.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language pathology services to patients in acute care and inpatient rehab settings
- Conduct evaluations and treatments for neuro-related conditions, trauma, post-intubation, cognitive safety, and swallow studies
- Cover occasional weekend shifts
Requirements
- Licensed Speech Therapist within the state of Nebraska
- American Heart Association’s BLS for Healthcare Providers
