About the role
Nightingale Nurses – Allied is seeking a travel Speech‑Language Pathologist for a 13‑week assignment at Mohawk Valley Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Utica, NY. The contract runs from 10/27/2026 through 01/23/2027 (start date 11/02/2026), 40 hours per week on a day shift (7 AM–3:30 PM, 8‑hour days). Both local and travel candidates are welcome; candidates within 75 miles receive the local rate. No on‑call requirement.
Requirements
- Long‑term care (LTC) experience required
- Degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an ASHA‑accredited college or university
- Current New York State SLP license
- Eligible for or holds ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC‑SLP)
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EPIC/EMR systems
- Knowledge of the PDPM reimbursement system
