Travel Speech-Language Pathologist - $2,761 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a position in Sitka, Alaska. The start date is September 14, 2026, and the duration is 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments.
• Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and their causes.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, such as family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.
• Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.

Qualifications

• ASHA, BLS, 1 Year of Experience

Skills

• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
