Days shift, 8 hours per day, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
Required Qualifications
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Speech & Language Pathologist license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence
- The ability to read, write, and understand written instructions in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Prior experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing facility
Job Summary
The Healthcare Professional, Speech Language Pathologist (Inpatient) position is located in Massachusetts. This role involves partnering with residents and interdisciplinary care teams to provide speech language pathology services aimed at maximizing residents' communication and swallowing functions. The position requires delivering evaluative and therapeutic procedures supporting residents' independence and overall well-being.
Additional Information
- Evaluating residents' communication and dysphagia issues
- Developing and modifying treatment plans
- Providing education and support to residents and caregivers
- Maintaining documentation in line with department procedures
- Participating in team meetings and program development
- Performing tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in clinical environments with adherence to infection control procedures

Pay Package
Based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
