HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Richmond, Virginia. This role is within the inpatient rehabilitation unit at CJW Johnston Willis Hospital.

Unit Information

• Number of Beds: 44
• Number of Staff: 2 speech therapists
• Shift: Day shift (9 hours, days)
• Patient Ratios: 1:8/10
• Type of equipment: MBS Suite, Vital Stim, IOPI, EMST150, Bioness BITs
• EMR: Yes

Staffing details:

• Day Shift: 2 speech therapists
• Night Shift: Not applicable

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and treat multiple diagnoses related to swallowing and speech-language disorders
• Perform Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies

Requirements

• Virginia state license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCCs)
• Experience with adult population/medical settings

Preferred Qualifications

• Neuro experience
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience

• Dress code: Black scrub bottoms; royal blue scrub top preferred (other colors accepted)
• Weekends and on-call: Rotating weekends, typically one shift per month
