Travel Speech-Language Pathologist - $2,643 per week

Synergy Medical Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 14-week assignment in Rutland, Vermont.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in a rehabilitation setting.
• Assess and treat patients with various speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient assessment results.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physicians, nurses, and other therapists.
• Document progress notes and maintain accurate records according to regulatory standards.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Vermont.
• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• At least two years of recent clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a hospital or skilled nursing facility setting preferred.
• Knowledge of adaptive equipment and techniques for managing complex cases.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Skills

• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer software for documentation and record-keeping.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
