Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,623 per week

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Ahoskie, North Carolina. The assignment starts on December 7, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, involves 40 hours per week on 12‑hour shifts, and is a travel position.

Responsibilities

• Assess referred patients that require treatment for speech, hearing and/or language deficits.
• Teach patients how to make sounds, improve their voices, or increase oral or written language skills to communicate more effectively.
• Teach individuals how to strengthen muscles or use compensatory strategies to swallow without choking or inhaling food or liquid.
• Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
• Assess patient needs, plan, evaluate and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
• Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills so they can fulfill educational, vocational and social roles.

Requirements

• Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist/SLP, or be actively in the application process for current state licensure.
• At least one year of professional working experience.
• Hold a Master's degree in Speech‑Language Pathology.
• Current CPR certification.
• Must have CCC’s (Certificate of Clinical Competence).
• Other requirements may be determined by the client facility.
