Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,599 per week

About the role

American Traveler seeks a Speech‑Language Pathologist with 2+ years of experience for a home health and skilled nursing facility (SNF) role covering multiple locations in Grand Island, Hastings, and Kearney, Nebraska. The position uses Net Health and HCHB charting systems and involves travel between sites (2‑3 days per week at each location).

Responsibilities

• Administer and perform therapeutic interventions and assess client needs to develop individualized therapy plans
• Document observations and services provided, and notify physicians of changes in patient condition
• Provide direct consultation with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Train clients, family members, and staff on interventions and equipment use
• May utilize and supervise therapy assistants in accordance with federal and state regulations

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited speech/language pathology program preferred
• Current BLS certification
• 2+ years of experience required
• Prior work experience in a rehabilitation or geriatrics setting preferred
• State license required if applicable
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Valid driver's license required for consideration

Pay

Pay package is based on 9‑hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.

• Day shift, 9‑hour shifts

• Monday‑Friday or shifted schedule options (Tuesday‑Saturday or Sunday‑Thursday)
