About the role
Wellspring Nurse Source is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Roseburg, Oregon, starting ASAP with an end date of June 2027. This position focuses on serving children from birth to age five within a designated geographic area. The Speech-Language Pathologist will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in young children, with a strong commitment to helping children develop essential communication skills and enhancing their overall quality of life. The role operates within an educational framework aimed at fostering a supportive environment for children's growth and development.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to identify speech and language disorders.
- Implement individualized treatment plans to assist children in developing effective communication skills.
- Collaborate with families and other professionals to support the child's development.
- Maintain accurate records of assessments, treatment plans, and progress.
Requirements
- Oregon State Speech-Language Pathologist License.
- Experience working with children in a relevant setting.
- Less than 1 year of experience is acceptable.
Schedule
Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8-hour day shifts (40 hours per week). Candidate will be compensated for hours worked only; no pay for school holidays or closures.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
