About the role

HCS 247 is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Hanford, California, starting August 17, 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech therapy services to patients in a hospital setting.
  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

  • Current state license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • At least 1 year of relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology.
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices in speech-language pathology.
  • Experience with various assessment tools and techniques.

Pay

The pay package is based on 9 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

This will be a 13-week assignment, 8A-5P shift starting August 17, 2026, working 40 hours per week.
