About the Role
The Good Life MedStaff is seeking a travel Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Edgefield, South Carolina.
Responsibilities
- Caseload includes cognition, memory, dysphagia, safety awareness related to falls or other indicators, speech intelligibility, orientation, communication, family training, and additional areas.
- Occasional weekend call may be needed, discussed prior to scheduling.
- EMR/Charting: NetHealth for rehab, PCC (Point Click Care) for other info (orders, med dx, etc.).
Requirements
- SLP - SC State License, CCC, and BLS required.
- Setting: SNF/LTC/Post Acute, 8-hour day shift, 36-hour guarantee.
- Experience: At least 6 months to 1 year of LTC / SNF experience recommended.
Qualifications
- 120-bed SNF / LTC facility with a mix of short-term rehab (STR) and long-term care (LTC) patients.
- EPA has a low re-hospitalization rate.
- Good rapport with in-house Nurse Practitioner and IDT for patient needs and changes.
Schedule
- 40 hours per week, 5 days per week.
- Flexible scheduling options: 7 am to 7 pm general rehab hours, with daily schedules like 9 am to 5 pm or 10 am to 6 pm.
- Rural area SNF, close to Augusta, GA / Aiken, SC / Greenwood, SC, in a historic town.

Additional Info: Creative scheduling options like Tues to Sat may be available if open to every weekend. Tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
