About the role

We’re seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to join our team for a school-based contract in Sarasota, Florida. This is a travel position with an anticipated start date of ASAP and a duration of the current and/or future school year.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat students experiencing delays with expressive and receptive language skills, articulation/phonology, fluency, and oral motor.
• Promote optimal function and engagement in meaningful activities.
• Provide support to families and collaborate with other disciplines to address goals and objectives as indicated in each student's IFSP or IEP.
• Maintain appropriate documentation regarding student services and subsequent needs in compliance with state and local requirements.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited program in Speech Language Pathology.
• Completed Certificate of Clinical Competence.
• Current Speech-Language Pathology License in the state of practice.
• Current BLS certification.
