Travel Speech-Language Pathologist - $2,424 per week
About the Role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an immediate travel assignment in Indianapolis, IN. The position requires 1 year of experience; exceptional candidates with appropriate backgrounds may be considered with 6 months of experience.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
- Create individualized treatment and therapy plans for a diverse patient population in the acute care setting.
- Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
- Educate patients and family members about speech disorders, causes, disabilities, and traumatic events.
- Report progress and current status to family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.
Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of experience; new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, or stoop for long periods without difficulty.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay
Pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
