About the role

Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 26-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, in Wasilla, Alaska.

Responsibilities

  • Provide speech language pathology services to patients in a hospital setting.
  • Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and other healthcare providers.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Alaska.
  • Experience working in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a background check.
  • Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be willing to travel within Alaska.

Skills

  • Strong clinical skills in speech-language pathology.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in computer software relevant to the field.
