About the role
Triage Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 26-week assignment starting July 13, 2026, in Wasilla, Alaska.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech language pathology services to patients in a hospital setting.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with families and other healthcare providers.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Alaska.
- Experience working in a hospital or rehabilitation setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Must be willing to travel within Alaska.
Skills
- Strong clinical skills in speech-language pathology.
