Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,402 per week
MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing is seeking a quality Speech Language Pathologist for a travel assignment in Twin Falls, Idaho.
About the role
The Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for assessing referred patients requiring treatment for speech, hearing, and/or language deficits. The SLP will teach patients to improve communication skills, including making sounds, enhancing voice quality, and increasing oral or written language abilities. Additionally, the SLP will assist individuals in strengthening muscles or using compensatory strategies to swallow safely without choking or inhaling food or liquid.
- Provide skilled speech therapy services/interventions in accordance with physician orders.
- Assess patient needs, plan for, evaluate, and modify care to meet goals of speech therapy interventions.
- Set realistic and achievable goals for patients to develop or recover reliable communication and swallowing skills, enabling them to fulfill educational, vocational, and social roles.
Requirements
- Current state license as a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or proactively in the process of obtaining licensure.
- At least one year of professional working experience.
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Current CPR certification.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility.
