Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,390 per week

TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a travel job in Liberty, Missouri. Specialty: Speech Language Pathologist; Discipline: Therapy; Start Date: 11/01/2026; Duration: 13 weeks; Employment Type: Travel. The right SLP should have 1 year of experience; for an exceptional candidate with an appropriate background, 6 months of experience may be accepted.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, treat, and prevent speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
• Create treatment and therapy plans to suit the individualized needs of a diverse population of patients.
• Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders.
• Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes, including disabilities and traumatic events.
• Report progress and current status to appropriate parties, which may include family members, teachers, or medical professionals.
• Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines.

Requirements

• Experience: 1 year preferred; 6 months acceptable for exceptional candidates; new grads encouraged to apply.
• Must have BLS and ASHA‑SLP National Certification with state‑specific licensing.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods, as well as bend, lean, or stoop without difficulty.
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
