About the role
TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist for a 13-week assignment in Glenville, West Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with speech, voice, or swallowing impairments
- Evaluate and develop a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting
- Perform screenings to detect voice or speech disorders
- Educate patients and family members about speech disorders and causes
- Report progress and current status to appropriate parties
- Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines
Requirements
- Must have 6 months of experience; however, new grads are encouraged to apply
- Must have BLS and ASHA-SLP National Certification with state-specific licensing
- Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean or stoop without difficulty
- Must have a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology and medical terminology
Qualifications
- BLS
- 2 Years Experience
