About the role
Work directly with patients to evaluate and treat issues with communication and swallowing.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and treat speech and language disorders
- Manage fluency issues
- Treat dysphagia
- Work with patients one-on-one
Requirements
- Expert knowledge of speech sounds, language development, fluency management, and dysphagia
- Great communication skills
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Licensure to practice in the state of Maryland
- Current CPR certification
Skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
- Knowledge of speech therapy techniques
