Travel assignment for a Speech Language Pathologist in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
About the role
12-week travel position at a Level II Trauma Center with a Level III NICU and Level III Maternity unit. The facility is a Comprehensive Stroke Center, Tertiary Access Hospital, and Geriatric Accredited Center with 167 beds. The unit has 20 beds and a census of 14-16, focusing on infants less than 36 weeks.
Responsibilities
- Provide speech therapy in the NICU, including feeding therapy for fragile feeders
- Perform preemie neuro assessments
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including nurses, other speech therapists, OT team, and on-site providers
- Work with patient types including premature infants (36 weeks), infants with feeding disorders, congenital disorders, craniofacial abnormalities, RDS, and cardiac conditions
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience plus 1 year in NICU
- BLS certification
- CCC certification through ASHA
- Advanced training in infant feeding
- Certified neonate therapist (preferred)
- Experience with Bayley 4 preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Skills
- General speech therapy in the NICU
- Feeding therapy for fragile feeders
- Preemie neuro assessment
- Experience with EPIC EMR
- Experience with infant video/FEES (a bonus)
Schedule
- 12-week assignment starting 08/24/2026
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts (M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM)
- No on-call, call-back, weekend, or holiday requirements
- Up to 5 days of unit orientation
