Travel Speech Language Pathologist - $2,312 per week

About the role

AHS Staffing is looking for a SNF Speech Language Pathologist in Canaan, CT for a Long Term (Travel) position. This assignment is expected to last 13 weeks.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech-language therapy services to patients in a skilled nursing facility setting.
• Assess and diagnose speech, language, voice, and swallowing disorders.
• Develop and implement treatment plans based on patient needs.
• Document progress notes and treatment sessions accurately.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care.

Requirements

• Current license to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist in the state of Connecticut.
• Experience in long-term care settings preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Passing score on the Praxis II exam or equivalent certification.
• Current CPR certification.
