About the role

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist with CCCs and 2+ years of experience for a 13-week travel assignment in an inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in Gilbert, Arizona.

• 40-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting
• Speech Therapy department located on the 2nd floor
• Treats adult acute rehab patients including neuro, Parkinson's, and debility diagnoses
• Uses UDS and Cerner EHR systems
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• Requires working one weekend per month
• No call requirements
• No floating requirements
• Burgundy/wine colored scrubs required

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized rehabilitation care for patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Support comprehensive physical medicine and rehabilitation programs aimed at maximizing patient health, function, and quality of life

Requirements

• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Adult acute rehab experience preferred
• Bachelor's or Master's degree meeting SLP CCC requirements
• Relaxed and efficient personality fit preferred by the team
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this travel assignment
• Candidates cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed elsewhere full-time

Schedule

• Start Date: August 31, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 40 hours per week
• 8-hour day shifts (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM)
