About the role
Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel Speech Language Pathologist to provide safe and effective speech-language pathology and dysphagia services in Newport, Oregon. This role involves implementing appropriate evaluation, treatment, and education to meet the identified communication and swallowing needs of patients. The position promotes teamwork and requires effective communication with patients, families, caregivers, and team members.
Responsibilities
- Provide evaluation and treatment for communication and swallowing disorders.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, families, caregivers, and team members.
Requirements
- Current unencumbered Oregon Speech-Language Pathology license.
- Certificate of Clinical Compliance from the American Speech/Language and Hearing Association (ASHA), or active participant in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
- Healthcare Provider BLS certification.
- Ability to travel to multiple points of care.
Schedule
- 13-week contract starting 07/30/2026.
- 40 hours per week, 8-hour day shifts (08:00–16:00).
- No weekends.
